Peel Road Runners

Peel Road Runners are a Tamworth based running club, from Staffordshire in England and are now in their 20th year. The club was formed around Christmas 1991, after a breakway move from Tamworth Athletics Club and consisted of founder members, Chairman Greg Hall, President Ray Rogers, Secretary Dee Hall, and Treasurer Dave Ostins.

Club membership is now at a healthy 67 and we meet every Tuesday and Thursday night at Tamworth Snowdome@ 7pm. 

The Snowdome now charge £1 for showers and lockers and we meet in the foyer.

Parking at the Snowdome is NOT free anymore, unless you are a member! 

The weekday runs are between 5-7 miles duration and leave the snowdome at 7.15pm. Some level of fitness is required for these evening runs, but we try and cater for most runners. The club colours are black and yellow and membership for new members is £36 which includes club running vest (this must be worn during races) & entry to the yearly presentation evening.  Annual membership renewal is £20 as this excludes club running vest & none runner subscription is £10
