Club Welfare

At Peel Road Runners, the welfare and wellbeing of our members is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy their running, develop their abilities and feel respected.

Simon Gordon and Emma Whorwood are your Club Welfare Officers. They play a key role in ensuring that all club members have a safe and positive experience at our club. You can speak to them on a club night, or email them if you have a safeguarding, discipline or conduct concern.

They also support the mental health of our members and organise mental health based running nights, such as a mindful mile or a fun games-based structured run evening.

You can contact your welfare officers in confidence using the below email.
