Weekly Round-up – 2nd November 2026

On Sunday the 56th New York Marathon took place. This is the largest marathon of all, with around 60,000 runners taking the start line. This was in fact the 50th anniversary of the iconic five-borough course, as the first five editions were repeated loops of Central Park.

Lydia Knight took on this iconic event and completed it in a fantastic 4:14. A great achievement and a special event for anyone to have on their running achievements list.  Well done, Lydia!
